Pedestrian tunnel near Zoar

A 14-foot diameter tunnel has been excavated under the Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway (W&LE) near Zoar. In the fall of 2003, over 150 community leaders, elected officials and local partners gathered to dedicate the completed tunnel. Reconstruction of the Zoarville Station Bridge

The Zoarville Station Bridge at Camp Tuscazoar has been restored and reconstructed.  This historic bridge is the only Fink Through-Truss bridge known to exist in the United States.  The bridge carries the Zoar Valley Trail, the intrastate Ohio-to-Erie Trail and Buckeye Trail, and the interstate North Country Scenic Trail across Conotton Creek. The bridge also gives the youth using Camp Tuscazoar access to the Ohio-Erie Canal Corridor and the towpath trail.  Check out the photos of our grand re-opening in September 2007!
