Camp Tuscazoar Launches Worldwide Web Site

ZOARVILLE, Ohio - A worldwide web site for historic Camp Tuscazoar has been established at http://www.tuscazoar.org. The web site includes schedules, maps, special event news, photos, camping information and history for the 470-acre camp in the hills of Tuscarawas County. An online trading post is also included, offering hats, shirts, patches, mugs and other Camp Tuscazoar souvenirs.

"Camp Tuscazoar has been a favorite hiking and camping location for youth for more than 75 years," said Ted Novak, President of the Camp Tuscazoar Foundation. "We are excited about this new, virtual opportunity to bring a little bit of Camp Tuscazoar to our members and friends. As we continue to update our site, we hope they will visit often."

Foundation trustee Brian Criswell has worked to get the camp’s web site operational. The site is being hosted by WebNetworks International, based in San Diego, Calif. Anyone interested in assisting this project should send an e-mail message to Camp Tuscazoar’s e-mail address at info@tuscazoar.org.
