This year's theme is

"NATIVE AMERICAN GAMES"

These games aren't always as simple as they appear.

Here are the event requirements:

Patrol names must reflect Native American culture.
Patrols must be made up of from 5 to 7 Scouts.

Items needed by each Patrol:

  1. First Aid kit

  2. at least 2 neckerchiefs

  3. a 6 foot long piece of light twine

  4. a coup stick at least 5 feet long (a small straight sapling will work very well but trees may not be cut at camp.) Your coup stick may be decorated.

Age divisions will break down as follows:

  • Adults - 18 & up (non-competing)

  • Senior Scouts - 15 to 17

  • Junior Scouts - 11 to 14

  • Cubs / Weblos - under age 11

Cost is $6.00 per person. You will receive lunch and an event patch and a challenging series of events.

The weekend schedule will include a Leader's Cracker Barrel on Friday night, "NATIVE AMERICAN GAMES" competition on Saturday, a Campfire Saturday night, and Sunday church services in Tom's Chapel if possible. The W. C. Moorhead Museum and Trading Post will be open Saturday.

Please contact the camp by January 30th so we can plan our meal.

We look forward to seeing you and extend an invitation to other family members to join us Saturday for the fun !
