In keeping with the 10th point of The Scout Law, there
will be a Campsite Inspection sometime during the day, resulting
in an award for BEST CAMPSITE / CABIN. As is the tradition, a Hot
Lunch will be provided midday Sat. for this event, at Kimble
Hall, sponsored by the Camp Tuscazoar Foundation. A packet will
be available for each group as they check in. Either a Chariot
Race or Klondike Sled Race is planned for the afternoon ; weather
permitting. Further instructions for the Saturday events will be
explained at the Patrol Leader's and Adult Leader's
Cracker-barrel on Friday night. We will try to have plenty of
firewood on hand for your convenience, at the campsites and the
cities. We do ask that you leave a stack of "courtesy
wood" in your site upon your leaving after the event.
Any vehicles permitted to enter the main camp must
stay on the main service roadways, and must be returned to the
parking lot IMMEDIATELY after unloading. This will depend, of
course, on the surface conditions within the camp and is left up
to the Ranger's discretion.
Patrols will be asked to participate in the Sat. night
"RENDEZVOUS" at Kimble Hall. If you wish to
participate, please turn in your skit, song, sparkler, etc. by
5:00 PM Sat. to Dale Tschantz, at Gold Rush Headquarters.
We look forward to seeing you at the
GOLD RUSH!!!
